I can’t believe it has been a whole 2 months since i last updated this blog!! Sorry guys, i don’t know where the last 2 month has gone, boy it has really flown by. Saying that i think this whole year is flying by or seems to be. I haven’t really been up to much the last 2 months, I’ve made a few cakes and also quite a few batches of cupcakes too! I have been testing out new recipes and also creating some scrummy cupcake concoctions that i will be using when i set up in business (which will hopefully be sometime early next year if everything goes to plan) so watch this space!!!! Anyway here are some of my latest creations that i would like to share with you all.
Cars 2 cake with icing figures.
Spongebob cake also with icing figures.
Xbox cake, complete with icing edible game (which of course had to be Halo, one of my favourite games). The games controller was shaped out of rice krispie treats, coated in buttercream and then covered in fondant/sugarpaste icing.
Here are a couple of the many cupcakes i have made recently
Purple roses for a 60th Birthday.
Rosettes and trophies for a horse riding presentation.
I made this cake for a ladies sister who likes the colour pink and also loves flowers. She was very happy with the end result and her sister adored the cake.
I made these cupcakes to go with the Circus themed cake i made for an 18th Birthday party.
Edible ticket icing toppers.
Happy and Sad icing faces.
All boxed up and ready to go to the party.
18th Birthday Cupcakes.
Cupcakes made to look like tubs of popcorn.
I made the cupcake wrappers myself, they were a lot of work but i am so happy i did as i love the finished look of them.
The cupcakes set up at the party.
Here is a closer look at the cupcakes on the cupcake stand at the party.
My friend asked me to make a cake, she wanted to surprise her husband for Valentines day. This cake was a fruit cake ( as her husband loves fruit cake) covered in marzipan and then in sugarpaste/fondant icing.
The decorations and the little bee figure are also made out of icing.
